Who is Jay Woodward?

Local music is a big piece of the music industry, and supporting it is more important.
Jay Woodward is a talented indie folk artist from Venice, California. His album titled Letters We Told was the start of his music career in 2013. "Letters We Told, is a concept album that takes a look at the human experience through the eyes of one of America's sons." Woodward's music is similar to Fleet Foxes and Bright Eyes; and his inspirations include: Nick Drake, Willie Nelson, Brand New, Elliot Smith, and Monsters of Folk.
He is now in the studio working on his second album, which should be released in the Summer of 2015. The album is currently titled Good Grief and was inspired by friendship, death and, loss. I'm very excited for this!
